STORY BOARDS

I have always loved a good story, whether its read or seen in a movie or related verbally...I believe people remember stories.

When I was very young, I spent hours under a large maple tree creating a world all my own where stick people lived in square patches of grass or dirt lined with small pebbles and adorned with seed pods, nut shells, leaves or anything else I found in my outdoor wanderings.

I created my first storyboard years ago.  It was not until a couple years after that first one that I realized my life had come full circle, that I was creating for others out of the very things I had loved and played with as a child...those things found in nature.  I have since added metal and nails and beads, etc...but always with the purpose of creating a visual story about God's Word and His world, and how we relate to it.

I have always considered nature to be a gift given to teach us of God and His faceted but consistent character.  It always teaches us, if we are willing to listen.
